Immigrants, refugees, and especially the adults face unique challenges to work and live in the highly digitized Nordic Societies. Technological and demographic changes demands of up to date educational and training programs. The digital sphere brings both challenges and opportunities to renew their lives, embed and contribute to society (The Nordic Future of Work, 2018).

#NordEntreProgram is digital program with local coaches and open office spaces that prepares with entrepreneurial, digital and cultural competences the future working-force of Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

#NordEntreProgram is granted by the Nordic Ministers Council and the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science. The development partners are Oslo International Hub in Norway; VIFIN, Resource centre for Integration at  Vejle Municipality in Denmark; and Folkuniversitetet, an open educational institution in Sweden.

The content of the program is designed to ignite an entrepreneurial orientation in the learners, as well as to develop their capacity to act upon opportunities and ideas and to transform them into values for others. Also, learners will acquire and develop digital competences for project development, digital content creation,  and digital collaborations. The program is led by experienced professionals in an online setting and in-person learning with the assistance of local coaches and open office spaces.

Learners will use digital tools for learning, practicing and collaborating with their teammates. The local coach will follow the learner’s progress and support them in the process of successfully go through the different modules of the program. Learners will have access to open-office spaces, computers, and connection to the internet to accomplish the goals of the program. The program is performed in English and in the local Nordic language Swedish, Norwegian or Danish.

The program has a blended model: online and in-person learning. It is broken down into 7 modules to be carried in 12 weeks. The program starts with helping the learners get the entrepreneurial orientation, and discover or re-discover their potential, followed by identifying, evaluating and testing opportunities, in a real context setting, that create value for one and others. By the ending of the program, the learners have iterated different operational and business models as mobilized resources to go further for launching and diffusing their entrepreneurial projects.

A task is the canvas that you have to fill-in in modules.

For each canvas you will find 3 options:

1. Download slide

2. Send slide as e-mail

3. Download slide for upload

Option 2 is to send the slide as an e-mail when are you finished or when you want to share your work with your coach or teammates.

The option: "Download slide for upload", you can use if you want to save your work at your computer and want to continue from where you came to next time you work with the task. To do so you will have to upload the file by clicking in Upload VCC file (upper right corner).

After completing every step (canvas) you will download the page either as a pdf or send it via email to your coach for evaluation and feedback.

NB. the work is not saved online, so it is important that you download or e-mail the canvas before they proceed to the next step.

Module 1 and Module 2 are to be worked with on individual basis.

Module 3 are partially based on individual and group work.

In this module, you are responsible for building a team and if you are in a class (if you have a local coach) your coach will help forming your team. 

In module 3, canvas 1: “Identify Canvas” will be worked on individually and from canvas 2:“Team Canvas” you are suppose to work with the canvases in teams (or individually, if you decide so) and fill-in the rest of the canvases as a project.

For module 4-7, the project will be the point of departure for working with the canvases.
