CONTRIBUTION OF SOCIAL PARTNERS TO ISSUES OF DIVERSITY AND ANTI-DISCRIMINATION
IN THE EUROPEAN AND INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT
The purpose of this module is to inform and raise
awareness of the initiatives taken by European social partners, to combat
discrimination at work, and to enhance potentials for action and intervention
in the future.
Once
you have completed Topic 4, you should know/be able to define/have knowledge of
- The
role and the strategies of European social partners, the EESC, the ETUC,
the ITUC and other trade unions in the European and international sphere
- The
comparison among various actions and initiatives by European social partners.
- The role
that social partners can play at national, European and international level in
the field of combating discrimination at work.
